APPALOOSA FOUNDATION
Caring for the Appaloosa Community
The Appaloosa Foundation is the charitable division of the Appaloosa Horse Club. A renewed focus is driving efforts to expand fundraising so that the Foundation can do more to support the Appaloosa and the Appaloosa community. Donations of all amounts are appreciated. The Foundation provides support for owners in need, scholarships for education, health and genetics research, seminars, and the Appaloosa Museum and Heritage Center. The Foundation is a recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit, so donations are tax deductible.
Youth
The Appaloosa Foundation supports our Appaloosa youth through a scholarship program and activities for AYA that promote the development of their personal growth. With your generous donation, you will help provide opportunities for Appaloosa youth to become capable leaders within the Appaloosa breed and the equine industry.
Research
Through continued research, The Appaloosa Foundation funds research in health and genetics that help further our knowledge of the Appaloosa breed and equine industry.
Education
A closely related and equally important focus of the Appaloosa Foundation is education programs for Appaloosa owners and breeders. The Appaloosa Foundation hopes to provide funding for seminars and “think tanks” on genetics, management, marketing and breed promotion.
