The Appaloosa Youth Association (AYA) in conjunction with Larry Williams Photography has concluded the judging of the 2021 Youth Photography Contest. This year the youth competed in only one division due to the number of entries to showcase their photography talents. Cash prizes are awarded to the winners and the 1st place winner will receive a one year subscription to the Appaloosa Journal—the official publication of the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC). The winners will also receive recognition for their achievement in the Appaloosa Journal. The AYA is pleased to announce the following youth as this year’s AYA Photography Contest winners:
13& U
· 1st Place- Owen Colegrove
· 2nd Place- Adam Ryun
· 3rd Place- Cody Freeberg
14-18
· 1st Place- Abby Ryun
· 2nd Place- Lil Bednarski
· 3rd Place- Abby Freeberg
ESSAY

Youth compete in two divisions (13 & under and 14-18) to showcase their writing talents. Cash prizes are awarded to the winners in each age division and the 1st place winner of each division will receive a one year subscription to the Appaloosa Journal along with having their essay published in the magazine.
